[Tfug] Help me keep the shell people alive

I used a shell account for the longest time, for e-mail and web
hosting.  Now I use Gmail (it's not the greatest, but it works), and
have the eMachines running Debian stable for my web server :)  However
my father still uses a shell account.. he likes panix.com, mostly for
his newsgroups.
