That's actually the primary reason that I don't care for or trust
Ubuntu.  Putting that in as their "first bug" indicates that what they
care about is market share rather than freedom or interoperability.  I
also think that it places a negative tint on the entire project as it
suggests that they're looking to tear down rather than build up.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  I don't care what other
people use or what's dominant in the marketplace as long as my freedom
to use what I choose isn't limited, de jure or de facto.
