That's also a philosophy from the early days of Xerox.  Copiers were 
leased on a cost per page printed and the salesmen questioned a lot of 
the research at PARC saying, "Where's the click?"  IE: how are we going 
to be able to charge per use for it?

Maybe MS read the book as well?  ;-)
