[Tfug] CRC check on a bad ISO file...

It could be the file you downloaded that's bad, OR something went
wrong when you burned the CD (or DVD) - either bad media or bad drive.

Finally, it could be a read error on the CD/DVD drive that's being
used to boot the critter.

I'd try burning a new disk from the same file copied over to another
system with a different burner drive.
