[Tfug] SUV

I have the equivalent of the Ford Escape, a Chev Tracker. I get 24mpg which was ok in Tucson with lower gas prices in 2002. I think gas was $1.65/gal - does that sound right?

In Phoenix I drive 4 times a much and gas is 2 times as much. I'm hoping for a 40+mpg replacement. While not a tall man I am heavy. I do not like the cars that cause me to stoop to sit in.

I did not realize you were 6'8''. That does limit your options.

5.6 liter V8 on mostly highway driving to and from work. The room I have
in that 4 door truck cannot be found in any economical car.

I also own a '01 Ford Escape which gets better gas mileage and I can
barely fit myself, 2 kids in car seats and their associated baby
paraphenelia.
