[Tfug] Server purchase (!)

If you're looking for Real Cheap TM, then an old Dell workstation will 
be great. If it's been running for four years already, a quick dust down 
will knock it into shape. The only seriously fragile parts are the disk 
and the PSU. Dell PSUs are cheap & easy to replace out of warranty, but 
it may be best to get a spare now. And you're replacing the disk anyway...

I'm running a low-traffic intranet server that way.
