[Tfug] Ack! Help!

I was installing TurboLinux for a project I'm working on to a USB hard drive
- grub wouldn't start on the external or the internal hard drive, so I threw
CD1 back into the drive and tried the "kickstart" option, hoping it'd either
be a LiveCD or something I could deal with.  Unfortunately, this was the
Japanese quick installer - before I realized it, the drive was formatted..

I have some data that I'd like back...Does anyone know of any good linux
recovery tools?  A livecd would be preferred.
