[Tfug] IBM 5100

This post is in relation to a previous post, one that appears not to have made
it thru the TFUG server, perhaps because of an attachment.

What started this path was a comment on the 32 bit time stamp problem 
coming up
in 2038. The move to 64 bit is expected to make the limitation moot. However,
some computers will neccessarily still be operating at 32 bit, if for no other
reason than migrating the code is gonna be put off until too late. A scenario
for this to be the case is referred to. (see www.johntitor.com for the full
scenario - a rather far-out website)

The IBM 5100 has be hypothesized as being able to translate the "legacy 
code". I
am curious what y'all think of this.
