You may have to change a link or more.  On my system the following 
explains what you are seeing:

paul at bliss:~$ file `which oocalc`
/usr/bin/oocalc: symbolic link to `ooo-wrapper'
paul at bliss:~$ file `which oowriter`
/usr/bin/oowriter: symbolic link to `ooo-wrapper'
