[Tfug] Linux is NOT Windows

I don't use windows at all. Ever. I use XUbuntu on laptops, Deb on servers,
and my wife uses OS X.
I don't like windows. I have trouble remembering a time that I liked it.

But that's preference.

Personally, I like almost everything about XUbuntu better than anything
about windows, except maybe the cool way it picks up on wifi networks.
Otherwise, I think windows sucks big ones. I don't have to keep telling my
machine to keep running several times a day, don't have to reboot to clear
bugs in the dev env, don't have to reboot to stop "sleep deprivation
slowdown", don't have to install a dozen other programs to keep it running
and up to 1/2 speed.

But that's me. My family and I quit the windows thing years ago, even my
kids and wife. We don't miss it except when my teen wants to play WoW or
the like.
