[Tfug] Cisco 678 internal IP addresses

I work for a company whose VPN software assigns 10.x.x.x internal IP
addresses when I connect using the VPN software. Apparently, this software
doesn't like the fact that my Cisco 678 *also* assigns 10.x.x.x internal
IP addresses. I've been told by the tech. support folks that I can't
have a machine with a 10.x.x.x address (statically or dynamically
assigned) connect to the comapny intranet.
Does anyone know if I can reprogram my Cisco 678 to assign 172.16.x.x or
heck, even 192.168.x.x addresses internally?
Or can I just assign nonrouted IP addresses statically from those classes and keep
the 10.0.0.1 gateway address for the 678?
Thanks a lot in advance.
