[Tfug] Mounting smbfs

Hello Tucson,
I just set this up using a client machine running RH9 and Win2K
Server. The server share was not an Administrative share (d$)
though, just a normal share (g-ms). I could mount the share with
and without the /etc/fstab (mount -t smbfs .... or mount /mnt/smbfs)
as root without error. As a normal user I got an error reading the
/root/cred file (/root is not readible by world)
drwxr-x--- 17 root root 4096 Nov 12 16:28 root)
Are you sure you aren't running into a server side issue or file
permission on the credentials file?
