it was mainly for the meeting this sunday, i think... because this
sunday harry is out of town and did not wish to host it at USGS when he
was not there to supervise. if it comes down to it we could have the
meeting here at AIC, i just have to make one phone call to get it
approved, but would rather have it somewhere else if possible
